This used to be my desk chair. It’s ugly, but comfortable. As you can see from the ludicrous amounts of cat fur on it, Hammer has claimed it.

Scooby has her own office chair. When my W got a new one, we put this in the garage. We trained Scooby so it’s her petting station. Also her nap area.

The chair is officially his. I’m not bothering to clean that fur off. He’s just going to do it again.

I mean, I've had this chair longer than he's been alive. It just used to be in a room he wasn't allowed in. Once I gave my wife the entire office and moved my crap to the basement, Hammer quickly claimed this chair as his kingdom.

There’s a really cool old aluminum two-person patio chair at my in-laws barn. I’d love to bring it home and refinish it. Unfortunately over the years it’s become the official barn cat birthing chair.

I’m not sure I could save it even if I wanted to.

Even worse is there’s a 20’s Pontiac in the barn where  the footwell area of the rumble seats is also a cat birthing area. I’ve tried to buy it off my wife’s uncle, but he’ll “get around to” working on it. Probably right after the Triumph Spitfire and MGB. At least those two are tightly covered to keep the cats out.

Mu is as handsome and insufferable as ever. I swear, the more pictures I take, the more I catch him posing around the house. It’s pretty hysterical.

But he’s going to get mad in a few months because I want to get a dog. My neighbor got an Australian Cattle Dog from a breeder in Oregon so I looked around for a good one and ended up deciding on the same breeder. Mu is going to be a little pissed, but I think he will eventually realize he will always be my favorite.
